Having confidence in your smile is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. People who are confident in their smiles lead happier, more fulfilled lives. But if you’re not happy with your current smile, there are options out there that can help you achieve the look you want without breaking the bank. At Sapphire Creek Dental, we offer a variety of different orthodontic options for patients to achieve a healthier, straighter smile. Let’s explore a few options so you can make an informed decision about how to invest in your smile.

Traditional Braces

Traditional braces remain one of the most popular ways to get a straighter, healthier smile. Traditional orthodontic treatment is completed within 18-24 months and uses brackets and wires to move teeth into proper alignment. This option typically involves monthly visits to an orthodontist to have wires tightened and brackets adjusted. Not only does this ensure that teeth move at a safe rate, but it allows for minor adjustments as needed throughout the process. Additionally, many private insurance plans cover part or all of this procedure. If you have any questions concerning insurance or financing give our office in New Braunfels a call or visit Insurance page to learn more.

Invisalign

Clear aligners, such as Invisalign, is a popular option for adults who are looking for a more visually appealing orthodontic treatment option. Invisalign involves wearing a series of custom-made aligners over your teeth that gradually move teeth into place over time; each set of aligners is worn for two weeks before being replaced by the next set in the series. Invisalign clear braces require fewer office visits and are virtually invisible when worn. As with traditional braces, many private insurance plans cover part or all of this treatment as well.

Veneers & Crowns

Veneer and crown procedures involve covering up existing teeth with porcelain or ceramic materials to create a more aesthetically pleasing look while also protecting any underlying damage from further deterioration. Although these procedures can be expensive compared to other options, they offer permanent results with minimal maintenance required afterward; once veneers or crowns are placed on teeth, they can last anywhere from 10-20 years before needing replacement (if necessary). Veneers & crowns may not be covered by insurance depending on what type of procedure you need and which company provides your coverage; however, some plans will provide partial coverage and/or discounted rates depending on your policy terms and conditions.

There are several options available when it comes to investing in a healthier, straighter smile – from traditional orthodontic braces and Invisalign clear braces to veneers & crowns – so take some time to explore what works best for your budget, lifestyle needs, and desired outcome.
